The working procedure of the patrol inspection system: install information buttons at patrol points; during patrol, personnel hold the patrol machine (or patrol wand) and touch the information button at each point; the patrol machine reads the button data. After completing the patrol task, they return to the monitoring center, and management staff use software to upload the information stored in the handheld patrol machine (wand) to the computer, analyze the patrol data and generate printed reports for review.
Before using the electronic patrol system, users first install patrol points at locations requiring patrol, then set up the software, including patrol routes, patrol personnel, patrol plans, and real-time patrol data receiving end settings (real-time data reception requires the LAN or network version software). After setup, patrol personnel hold the patrol machine and patrol according to the set route and time. First, use an identity card to switch operator identity; upon arriving at a patrol point, when the patrol machine is within 3-5cm of the patrol button, it automatically reads and saves the current location information, read time and reader identity. The saved data is uploaded in real time to the backend management software via 4G/GPRS/WIFI networks. The system compares the returned data with the pre-set patrol plan, analyzes and processes it, and automatically generates data reports; managers can view in detail the patrol time of inspectors, missed checks and wrong points.
