Recently, local outbreaks appeared in several places, with some sporadic imported cases elsewhere; by 6:00 pm on April 20, 2022 there were 151 medium-risk areas and 8 high-risk areas nationwide, reminding us not to relax epidemic prevention and to fight the epidemic scientifically based on past experience.
As a high-tech R&D enterprise, in early 2020 during the epidemic we actively supported epidemic prevention work at hospitals, temporary treatment facilities, some communities and hotel quarantine monitoring in Wuhan and Shenzhen, using technology to help fight the epidemic. Among them, our NB-IoT smart door sensors were applied to monitor quarantined people at residential communities and hotels. Currently, this remote quarantine monitoring system is once again online in some communities in key areas, actively assisting communities in solving quarantine monitoring problems.

In operation, the system is based on the NB-IoT network, battery-powered with dry batteries and no cabling. By installing smart door sensors, door open/close status is monitored; when someone opens the door, the sensor triggers an alarm and the epidemic quarantine center platform immediately receives the alarm. Alarm messages can also be pushed to community grid staff via WeChat for precise monitoring of door status.

This more efficient and intelligent door sensor management system effectively improves the control efficiency of quarantined people in communities and hotels, enables 24-hour seamless control and reduces the manpower burden. Centrally managed by the community, it also lowers cost; after the quarantine period ends, the sensors can be removed at any time — simple and flexible.

Besides door sensors, our intelligent emergency alarm system also plays an important role, especially at airports and hospitals where foot traffic is heavy and the population is diverse, requiring precise control. Installing such a stable and reliable emergency alarm system can effectively handle various on-site emergencies.
