About electronic fences:
The electronic fence is the most advanced perimeter anti-theft alarm system, consisting of an electronic fence energizer and front-end detection fence. The energizer generates and receives high-voltage pulse signals, producing alarm signals when the front-end detection fence is touched, short-circuited or open-circuited, and sends intrusion signals to the security alarm center; the front-end detection fence is a physical perimeter composed of posts and metal wires and other components. Multi-level networking can be achieved through a control keypad or control software. An electronic fence is an active intrusion-prevention fence: it counters intrusion attempts, repels intruders, delays intrusion time, does not threaten human life, and sends intrusion signals to security monitoring equipment so that managers can promptly understand the alarm area and respond quickly.
The blocking effect of the electronic fence is first reflected in deterrence: warning signs hang on the metal wires, creating psychological pressure at a glance, and touching the fence gives an electric shock sensation, enough to make intruders step back. Second, the electronic fence itself is a physical barrier: installed at an appropriate height and angle, it is difficult to climb; if forcibly breached, the energizer sends an alarm signal.
The electronic fence originated in Europe and the United States; the modern electronic fence comes from Australia. Electronic fences are divided into security electronic fences, livestock electronic fences and zoo-specific electronic fences. They have been widely used in China, successfully applied in major projects such as the Olympic Games, the World Expo and the State Grid, becoming a major product in the perimeter alarm field. In 2008, the national standard for electronic fences was promulgated: GB/T7946-2008.
